|Indian ink honey bees together on a huge honey comb.|
5 year olds
The children began the day by drawing honey bees. They repeated their bee drawings using black crayon and Indian ink. They added water colour paint to the crayon bee and coloured pencil to the ink bee.
They cut out the bees. I was impressed with their cutting skills.
I read a story about honey bees, which was full of honey bee facts. The children used oil pastels on black paper to draw the honey comb with a few larvae in the cells.
The crayon bees were added to the honey comb backgrounds.
