Geometric print project V4

Carrie's lesson
After some observational drawing to start the day, we talked about creating
a painting of geometric shapes with the use of a compass and ruler. I encouraged
the children to use bold bright colours to create contrast with the printed image.

I showed the children some of the designs from V1 to give them an idea of how the prints designs could link and repeat. They grasped this concept well and went on to produce their own repeat print.
They used a polystyrene print block with waterbased printing ink.
