Geometric Print Design V1

Carrie's lesson

This was a repeat of the lesson with V5. The project started with geometric overlapping shapes painted with water colour. The children were encouraged to use bold, bright colours to contrast with the print design.
When planning their print block, they had to think about how the design would connect when the print was repeated in different directions, creating new shapes. I think they did a great job!

Polystyrene blocks were used for printing and we
had two print stations set up for inking the designs.
