I have repeated a lesson I took a few days ago. See the post here.
The children are studying night and day. They have a growing knowledge of the moon. The story I read them, "Papa, Please get the Moon for Me," by Eric Carl talks about the changing moon.
The children experienced paint mixing. They only had the primary colours and black and white to work with.
They refined their cutting skills by cutting out a small photo of themselves and a round moon.
They blended soft pale colours to make the moon.
They constructed a ladder using lolly sticks.
They put all the individual pieces together, with a few silver stars, to make their picture.
