With all this information, they found it very easy to draw their clown on black paper with black wax crayon. They are very expressive.
The colour is added using chalk, which wont mix with the wax crayon, allowing the outlines to remain.
The second part of the day was to make another clown using a different medium. Kebab sticks and indian ink drawing on card. Once they were dry, they were coloured using coloured pencils.
Finally, the children drew their clown as part of the circus.
