Umbrellas M10

Our new press in action

Making the collograph

Rolling the printing ink onto the collograph.

The excellent drying rack.

6 and 7 year olds.

The children are experiencing print making over a two day period.

See this previous post for more descriptions. print-pre-day-v6.

Today they made a collograph, a crayon rubbing and a print. They also prepared a PVA block for printing during our next art day.

With the few minutes we had at the end of the day, the children began preparing a border for the piece of work they choose as their most successful next time.

  1. These caught my eye. They look delightful and the prints made with black ink sure do reflect the kind of wet week we are having in Rotorua.
