|Creating the repeating pattern border.|
The children are studying light, dark, shadows etc in their class.
The children looked at the different shades of brown on the ukeleles and coloured them using oil pastels. They blended the browns and yellows they saw together with cotton buds.
They cut the ukelele shape out of black paper. They positioned it behind the ukelele, then told me which direction the sun must have been shining to create that shadow.
