Night in the forest M10

7 year olds

Dropbox or my mismanagement of Dropbox has left me with only 3 images today.

There were three parts to todays art lesson.

1. The children drew either a weta, a dragonfly or a tuatara, using black Indian ink and kebab sticks. They were given photographs for reference. These were cut out and attached to the woven mat. See stage 3.

2. They coloured a page very well with oil pastels, focusing on bright colours. These were painted black and leaf litter etc. on the forest floor was etched into it.

3. They wove torn green paper into a mat, which they stuck to the centre of their forest floor.
