Seattle

I am always on the lookout for art ideas for the classroom, even on holiday. I went to an excellent yarn store today. In the window was a picture of Van Goghs starry night. It had been reworked in coloured yarn. Pieces of blue wool stuck on parts of the picture that were that shade of blue, etc. I think it would be a great group venture in the classroom. I imagine it set up for early finishers to add to. Thank you Betty, www.somuchyarn.com for the great idea.
Of course I also bought a beautiful yarn to make a scarf while we're travelling. I am going to attempt to get my knitting needles onto Air NZ for the long flight home.
