Tracey Tawhiao V1

Tracey Tawhiao's work

9 and 10 year olds.

I have taken this lesson several times because the children become very involved in their choice of words and their colour combinations are great.

Check out the "how it's done" post here. New Zealand artist, Tracey Tawhiao

  1. A good artist can be noticed from an early age. Children should have the opportunity of allowing their mind to run free and explore colours, shapes and sizes. These drawings are example of what they can achieve.

  2. Thank you Catherine. I absolutely agree. I feel it's important for the children to have boundaries to work within, but the trick is where to put the boundaries in order for them to be creative.

  3. This is a cool project! Love Tracey's work!

    1. Thanks Jane, Tracey has moved on to put her mark on glass.
