I read a very simple Maori legend about Papatuanuku, mother earth and Ranginui, father sky. Their children where all Gods of different things. The children chose their God and drew it on paper. They turned the paper over and held it up to the window and drew it again on the back. They chose hot or cold colours as their pallet and added water colour paint.
They lay the painted side down onto a sheet of carbon paper. They drew along all the lines of their drawing and added details if they wanted more.
