Decide on
a subject that will fill the page equally. We chose a rooster. The image is
either created through imagination or observation (photos in this case). The
children drew a rooster using pencil. Then put lines through the page to
create four parts. Each part was dealt with using a different medium. We used charcoal, watercolour paint, collage and pencil. Options could include Indian ink and sticks, pen or
coloured pencil.
