I love my iPad, but don't like I much for posting on my blog. Its ok for reading other blogs though. There is a blogger app. If you haven't got it yet, it's free and its ok for simply writing text and adding photos, but no good for moving things around if you are picky like me or like changing color or size of text, etc. I use the ipad to post occasionally, but when I want creative control, I use my laptop or desktop PC.
Hmm, I thought I left a comment here yesterday, but since it is not here, I'll try again. What I wanted to say is this. I have an iPad, which I absolutely LOVE, but I rarely do posts to the blog from the iPad; usually I use my desktop PC or laptop. There is a Blogger app, and that helps, but the iPad is really only good for simple posts. If you are like me, and you like to rearrange things, and play with sizes of images or colors of fonts, then the app will frustrate you. It is, however, simple to do a post from the app that is just text and images. Sometimes I'll start a post that way, and then go to my laptop to rearrange/edit the post, and move things around to where I want them. The artist in me is very picky about how my posts look! Good luck with your iPad, and let me know if you ever need a contact to play Words with Friends, or Draw Something!!
Sorry Phyl, my posts get published after I read them. I have been making the most of the last few days of the Summer holidays. we've been at a wedding celebration in Christchurch and visited a beautiful harbour town called Akaroa. Worth checking out. So my iPad had a break. Thanks for the tips. It will take a while to find out what works best on which device. I will get the blogger app. Yes please to words with friends.
