nigel brown pastel art

Pastel drawing
Eight year olds work.
Nigel Brown (NZ artist) was the inspiration for this work. The class was inquiring into conservation issues. The words and images were brainstormed first, then the colour pallet. Nigel Browns work is often uneven and loose which is unrestricting and great for the children. There was no need for accurate lines.  The pastel colours are strong and they applied them with intent.
