imaginary animals

Indian ink and dye.
Seven year olds.
The creatures are imaginary. They are a combination of three animals. A few children widened the boundaries and included aliens etc. They also combined the names to create a new name for their creature. For example; Octosharcpufa (bottom right), is the combination of a shark, a puffer fish and an octopus.
They did several sketches to begin with. They were asked to make their animals fill the page. The drawing is done with ink and sticks. The coloured dye is added with cotton buds.
