more tiny weavings

Eight year olds work.

The task was challenging for some. They made there own loom using card, rulers and wool. They learnt terms like weft and warp. They selected their colours and textures to weave through the warps. They added paper beads. The little stands were flawed prototypes.   The children made them out of ice block sticks and PVA. The supporting piece out the back was the problem. It wasn't strong enough. Those children who were challenged, came though triumphant. Perhaps they saw this as being more complex than it really is.
