A pukeko collage by 7 year olds.
A pukeko is a NZ swamp hen. They have bright distinct colours and lanky legs. The background is a collage of newspaper 'grass' and blue dye. There is a little wire insect hanging from the top corner. The pukeko is drawn using oil pastels for their vibrancy and cut out before attaching to the background.
