Indian ink and dye.
Artwork by seven year olds.
The children began by practicing making repeating patterns. They were asked to put three balloons of varying sizes on the page, with at least one overlapping. The strings coming down to the baskets divided the balloon into segments in which the patterns could be drawn. The baskets contain their favourite pets. The art is drawn using kebab sticks and indian ink. The colour is applied using cotton buds and strong dye.
